Services & Scope
What services does Anaye Digital offer?
We manage paid advertising across Google, Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube; SEO and Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO); programmatic display; email marketing and CRM automation; measurement and tracking infrastructure; web design; and creative production. Most clients start with one or two channels and expand as we demonstrate results.
Do you work with businesses outside South Africa?
Yes. We are based in Johannesburg but we work with clients across Africa and internationally. Our strategy and execution capabilities are not limited by geography, and we are comfortable managing campaigns in multiple currencies and markets simultaneously.
What size businesses do you work with?
We work with SMEs, scale-ups and established brands. The common thread is that clients want proper strategy and real accountability — not just someone to push buttons. We are not the right fit for businesses looking for the cheapest option, but we are very much the right fit for businesses that treat marketing as an investment.
Can you just run one channel for us, or do we need to use all your services?
Single-channel engagements are perfectly fine. Many of our longest-running clients started with Google Ads alone and added channels over time as confidence and budget grew. There is no obligation to buy a bundle.
Do you create ad creative and copy, or just manage the campaigns?
For text-based ads (Google Search, LinkedIn Sponsored Content) copywriting is included in the management fee. For visual creative — display banners, social media ad images and video — we have a dedicated creative service. This can be scoped as part of your retainer or as a standalone project. We will always be transparent about what is and is not included before you sign anything.
Pricing & Contracts
How does your pricing work?
We charge a flat monthly management fee per channel or service. Your ad spend goes directly to the platforms via your own account — we never touch or mark up your media budget. Final fees depend on account complexity and scope — contact us for a custom quote.
Are there lock-in contracts?
No minimum contract terms. Either party can exit with 30 days written notice. We believe the best way to retain clients is to deliver results, not to trap them in contracts. Your account history, data and ad assets remain yours regardless of how the engagement ends.
Do you charge a percentage of ad spend?
No. We use flat management fees, not percentage-of-spend models. Percentage-of-spend creates a conflict of interest — it incentivises agencies to increase your budget rather than improve your efficiency. Our interests are aligned with your results, not your budget size.
What ad spend do you recommend?
As a general guide, a media budget of at least 3× the management fee gives us enough data to optimise properly. The right amount depends on your market, your goals and the competitiveness of your category. We will give you a specific recommendation during the strategy call before you commit to anything.
Are your prices in Rands and do they include VAT?
Our published pricing is in South African Rand and excludes VAT. For international clients we can invoice in USD or EUR — just ask when we scope the engagement.
How We Work
What does the onboarding process look like?
After signing, we start with a structured discovery call to understand your business, audience and goals in depth. We then conduct an audit of your existing accounts and tracking setup. Within two weeks we deliver a strategy document and campaign brief for your review and approval. Launch follows once everything is signed off. We do not go live on anything without your explicit approval.
How much of my time will this require?
Onboarding takes around 2–3 hours of your time over the first fortnight. Once live, most clients invest about 30–60 minutes per month reviewing reports and giving feedback. We handle everything else. If you want to be more involved, we welcome it — but we are also built for business owners who want to hand it over and focus on running their business.
Do you work with our existing agency or internal team?
Yes. We often work alongside in-house marketing teams or alongside specialist agencies (PR, creative, web development). We are collaborative by nature and happy to define clear ownership boundaries from the start so there is no duplication or confusion.
Who will actually be working on my account?
Senior practitioners only. We do not pass accounts to juniors or trainees once they are on-boarded. You will have a named account lead who manages and is accountable for your campaigns, and who you can contact directly.
Results & Reporting
How long before I see results?
Paid search and paid social typically show meaningful signals within the first 2–4 weeks. The first 30–60 days are a learning phase where data accumulates and bids/audiences get refined. Most clients see the clearest lift between months 2 and 4. SEO and programmatic take longer by nature — 3–6 months for meaningful organic movement is realistic. We will set honest expectations upfront.
What does the monthly report cover?
Every report covers spend, impressions, clicks, cost-per-click, conversions, cost-per-conversion, ROAS (where applicable), and a written commentary explaining what changed, why, and what we are doing next. We also flag anything that needs your input or decision. Reports are sent in a format you can actually read — not raw data dumps.
Can you guarantee results?
No agency can honestly guarantee specific ROAS or CPA figures before seeing your accounts, understanding your margins, and running tests. Anyone who does is making numbers up. What we can commit to is transparent strategy, rigorous optimisation, honest reporting, and proactive communication — and a track record of improving performance for the clients who trust us with their accounts.
Technical & Tracking
Do you set up tracking and analytics for us?
Yes. We audit your tracking setup as part of onboarding and fix anything that is broken or missing before we spend a single rand on advertising. Conversion tracking setup (GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, platform-specific tags) is included in channel management retainers. Larger measurement infrastructure projects are scoped and quoted separately.
Who owns the ad accounts and data?
You do. Always. We work as admins within your Google Ads, Meta Business Manager, and other platform accounts. We never create accounts in our name on your behalf. All historical data, campaign structures, audiences and billing relationships belong to you and stay with you if you ever stop working with us.
We have a bad tracking setup right now. Can you still help?
Yes, and it is more common than you might think. Broken or misconfigured tracking is one of the most frequent issues we encounter in new accounts. We remediate it as part of onboarding, usually within the first two weeks. You should not run paid campaigns without clean conversion data — and we will not let you.
